Ladue Publications National Awards 2021-2022
The Panorama newsmagazine placed third in the nation at the Journalism Education Association’s national convention in spring 2022 in Los Angeles and eighth in fall 2021. Panorama earned the Silver Crown award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association for the 2020-2021 newsmagazine and won their first Pacemaker from NSPA. Panorama also earned an All-American ranking with five marks of distinction from NSPA. Quill and Scroll named Panorama a Blue and Gold recipient for Visual Excellence, placing second in the nation in this category.
The Rambler yearbook earned their first ever Silver Crown from CSPA and earned an All-American ranking with four marks of distinction from NSPA.
The Melodrama Literary Magazine won NSPA’s Best of Show in Literary Magazine in fall 2021. Editors in Chief Rhea Patney and Oviya Srihari were named Innovation Pacemaker Finalists for their work in bringing this publication to fruition. The Melodrama also earned a First Class ranking with three marks of distinction from NSPA.
Sarah Kirksey was named a Distinguished Adviser by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
